Playing Stuart Feinstein in I Know This Much Is True for HBO

I play lawyer Stuart Feinstein opposite Mark Ruffalo's character Domenic, in this gritty and soulful famiy drama for HBO by Derek Cianfrance, based on the beloved novel by Wally Lamb. You can see me in episode five with Mark, where he is doing everything he can to get his brother out of an abusive psychiatric facility, and me trying to convince him to launch a class action suit, which he has no interest in.

Mark is a pretty amazing human to me...A very gifted, deeply committed, hard working actor, who happens to be a star, who is as friendly and down to earth on set as you would hope he'd be. And a man who is also deeply committed to raising awareness on societal issues, like he has done with his film Dark Waters, which he was inspired to make based on an article about toxic "forever chemicals". When I look at the other recent important projects he's decided to do - Spotlight, The Normal Heart, Foxcatcher, (with a few small Marvel things in between) and the quality of his work, I can't help but say to myself, "Wow."
