100th Anniversary Tribute to James Joyce and the Easter Rising at Symphony Space

This past week I played the title role of Steven Dedalus in the centennial celebration of The Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, as well as the role of freedom fighter Thomas MacDonagh, who gave his life for Ireland's independence, in Easter Rising 1916, created by our gifted director, Olivier Award winner Jim Culleton of the Fishamble Theatre Company. This was part of the 35th annual Bloomsday on Broadway celebration at Symphony Space. This evening was very meaningful and deeply moving on many levels, and I will probably write more about this experience shortly once I assemble my thoughts.
